We can take cars, hot water heaters, refrigerators, stoves…..if it is metal, we’ll take it!

e-waste services: We collect e-waste Monday – Friday from 6:30am-3:30pm and on the first Saturday of every month from 10-2. The cost is 35 cents a pound.

Items need to be brought to the shop, though we can price hauling items away for you. VDS has partnered with High Country Recycling to better serve the local recycling needs.

We allow High Country Recycling the use our shop yard to recycle plastics. Plastics are taken the first Saturday of each month from 10-2.  Numbers 1-7 are accepted, but not #6 (styrofoam).  Please have plastic rinsed.  Lids need to be removed, unless the lid has the chasing arrows with a number in the center.   Cardboard can be recycled Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:30pm.

HCR is a 501c3 and does accept donations to off set the expense associated with recycling these items.  Please help keep the community beautiful!
