We can take cars, hot water heaters, refrigerators, stoves…..if it is metal, we’ll take it!

e-waste services: We collect e-waste Monday – Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm.   The cost is 35 cents a pound.

Items need to be brought to the shop, though we can price hauling items away for you.

Single Stream Recycling – If you do not want to deal with sorting your recyclables and taking them to different locations throughout the county, then we are pleased to let you know that we now offer single stream recycling.  For $4.00 we will provide you two – 35 gallon bags that you can put ALL of your recyclables in, including plastic!  Once the bag is full, you can return it to the office Monday -Friday , 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm.  The top of the bag must be able to close fully.

We allow High Country Recycling the use our shop yard to recycle plastics. Plastics are taken the first Saturday of each month from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Numbers 1-7 are accepted, but not #6 (styrofoam).  Please have plastic rinsed.  Lids need to be removed, unless the lid has the chasing arrows with a number in the center.   Cardboard can be recycled Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:30pm.

HCR is a 501c3 and does accept donations to off set the expense associated with recycling these items.  Please help keep the community beautiful!
